Shipping FAQ
When will my wine ship?
Orders are typically processed within a few business days after the Private Cellar event closes. Once your wine ships, you’ll receive tracking information so you can follow it to your door.
Delivery times vary based on your location, but most orders arrive within 5–10 business days after shipment. During extreme heat or cold, shipments may be briefly delayed to protect the wine because great bottles deserve to arrive in great condition.
Do you ship to my state?
Wine shipping laws vary by state, and not every state allows direct-to-consumer shipments from out-of-state retailers. Our licensed retail partner ships to most U.S. states, but we’re unable to ship to Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, and U.S. Territories due to state regulations.
If your state is eligible, you’ll see shipping available during checkout. If we’re unable to ship to your address, the system will notify you before you complete your purchase.
Do I need to be home to receive the wine?
Yes. An adult 21 years or older must be present to sign for the delivery. Carriers are legally required to obtain an adult signature and cannot leave wine unattended.
If possible, we recommend shipping to a business address or a location where someone will be available to sign. This helps avoid missed deliveries and ensures your wine arrives smoothly.
